Ingredients
Method
- Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Mix Italian seasoning, oregano, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and lightly sear the chicken for extra flavor.
- Place chicken into the slow cooker.
- Add garlic, butter, chicken broth, and sun-dried tomatoes.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours until the chicken becomes tender.
- Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and spinach during the final 20–30 minutes.
- Stir gently until the sauce becomes creamy and the spinach wilts.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Add parmesan cheese and heavy cream near the end of cooking to keep the sauce smooth and creamy. Freshly grated parmesan melts better and creates a richer Tuscan-style sauce.
