- Trim excess thick fat from the brisket while leaving a thin fat layer.
- Season the brisket evenly with minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the brisket if desired.
- Pour beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar into the slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned brisket into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8–9 hours, or until very tender.
- Transfer the brisket to a cutting board and allow it to rest for 15–20 minutes.
- Stir the butter into the warm cooking juices until melted.
- Slice the brisket across the grain.
- Spoon the garlic herb cooking juices over the brisket and serve.
Notes
