Mix gently until ingredients are combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
Shape the mixture into 24 evenly sized meatballs.
Optional: Brown meatballs in a skillet for extra flavor before adding them to the slow cooker.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Italian seasoning, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Place meatballs into the sauce and coat them gently.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until meatballs are fully cooked and tender.
Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
