Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs ground turkey
  • 5 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Season the turkey with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Stir in soy sauce or coconut aminos and mix well.
  6. Add shredded cabbage to the skillet and cook for 5–8 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cabbage for the best texture.
  • Ground chicken or beef can be substituted for turkey.
  • Add zucchini, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra vegetables while keeping it keto.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave before serving.
