Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Season chicken pieces with paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add chili flakes and stir into the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly reduced.
  7. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and coat well with the spicy garlic butter sauce.
  8. Cook for another 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the flavors combine.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for a juicier and more flavorful result.
  • Adjust cayenne and chili flakes according to your spice preference.
  • For a creamy version, add ¼ cup heavy cream or coconut cream.
  • Serve with cauliflower rice, roasted vegetables, or salad for a low-carb meal.
