Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb sirloin thinly sliced
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup keto brown sweetener
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • ½ –1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • ½ tsp xanthan gum
  • 4 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Slice the sirloin thinly across the grain.
  2. Place the beef in the slow cooker.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, water, keto brown sweetener, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and crushed red pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef.
  5. Stir gently.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours.
  7. Check the beef for tenderness.
  8. Gradually stir in the xanthan gum.
  9. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Start with ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper. You can increase the heat after cooking if necessary.
